Our Guest Speakers:
From an early age Crystal Clark knew God was calling her to be a nurse. (Her dolls still bear the marks of her starting IV’s with her mom’s sewing needles and stuffed animals have stitches.) Crystal graduated from the first nursing class of Lewis and Clark Community College in 1973 and received her BSN in 1979 from St. Louis University, and her School Nurse Certification from SIUE in 1997. After years working in Critical Care and School Nursing, God called Crystal to the one area of nursing she told God 40 years ago she would never work in, OB! Crystal is presently the nurse manager at Options Now Pregnancy Medical Clinic. Crystal lives in Godfrey with her husband Tom. They have 2 wonderful children Timothy (Amy) and Claudia (Matthew).
Kimberly Wade is a motivational speaker who inspires audiences with the story of her son Jonny, who bravely fought a rare form of pediatric brain cancer, and the impact his courageous journey has made on the world. Jonny’s story was based on the foundation of faith. Kimberly shares Jonny’s message and the importance of unbreakable faith in the midst of suffering. Jonny’s wish was that no other child gets cancer, and Kimberly honors the legacy of Jonny and all pediatric cancer patients through her fight to increase pediatric funding research and raise awareness. Currently, Kimberly is the President of the Jonny Wade Foundation. She participates in speaking engagements and fundraisers, and is an advocate for improvements in pediatric cancer research and treatments. She was honored as a “hero family” at the 2016 State of the Union. Kimberly lives in Jerseyville, Illinois and is happily married to her husband, Jon Wade. They have a son named Jacky, who is also Jonny’s twin brother. They attend First Baptist Church in Jerseyville, Illinois.
